Ryan works his magic for H&H Insurance Brokers
H&H Insurance Brokers one of the leading independent rural insurance companies in the UK are pleased to announce the promotion of Ryan Roberts to Senior Area Development Manager for Durham and The Eden Valley. Ryan joined the company six years ago as an Account Handler and two year later was promoted to Account Executive.
H&H Insurance Brokers specialise in all types of agricultural insurance. In addition to providing insurance for farm buildings, machinery and livestock, HHIB has in-depth knowledge in several specialist areas including insurance for livestock auction markets, abattoirs and hauliers as well as a product range especially developed for diversification projects such as on farm tourism and leisure businesses and the renewables sector.
During his time with HHIB Ryan has developed his career and successfully completed 4 exams to earn his CII certification and an NVQ in farm management. He has also passed the first of three exams which will lead to a CII Diploma. In this newly created position he will work out of the company’s Durham and Carlisle Office and be responsible for developing a client base in these two areas. Born and brought up and living in Carlisle, at the end of the working day Ryan puts down his briefcase and quite literally pulls out his box of tricks. A member of the Cumbrian Magic Circle for the last 8 years he has been performing at venues across the county. Ryan is looking forward to his new role as a Senior Area Development Manager and tells us what his job will entail:
“As a specialist in agricultural and rural business insurance my role is to build up a client base in these two key sectors across County Durham and the Eden Valley. Increasingly we are finding that people are increasingly ‘time poor’ and require an instant response to their insurance enquiries. So at all times my main aim is to offer the highest levels of customer care and a competitive, fast, efficient, and bespoke insurance service.”

In the last two years, the company has increased its workforce by over 25% and extended both their service offering and geographical spread. Now operating across Scotland, the North East, Yorkshire and North Wales they have opened three satellite offices, in Durham, Beeston in Cheshire and Aberdeen, Scotland.
