Glendale PR’s Rural Business Expansion
As the company expands to offer extra services for its clients, Agriculture and Rural PR Specialist Glendale PR and Marketing have this week welcomed a new face to the business.
This is Wooler based Glendale PR & Marketing , who are delighted to announce the appointment of Annabel Garven to its team.
A graduate in Environmental Sciences, Annabel, lives on a farm near Boulmer. She joins the company from Eshott Hall, where she held the position of House Manager, responsible for the day-to-day management of the hotel, event organisation and in-house marketing. Annabel will use her knowledge of the environment sector and event organisation to supplement the team at Glendale’s already extensive knowledge of agriculture and the environmental issues they face.
In her new role as PR and Marketing Executive with Glendale Annabel will assist with the production of marketing strategies, and the implementation of marketing, PR and social media campaigns, event management and promotion.
This is a challenging position and one which Annabel is very much looking forward to, as she explains: “Glendale PR is a very well-known and respected company and I am excited to be part of the business as it enters its next decade. My aim is to bring a fresh prospective to the business, with my experience from a busy Country House and Environmental Science background.”
Since they launched almost twenty years ago Wooler based Glendale PR and Marketing have been responsible for the publicity and marketing of many agricultural and farm-based businesses, a number which are now market leaders. These include long-term relationships with brand leaders such as Doddington Diary Ice Cream, BEDMAX shavings for horses, and Sunny Hill Free Range Eggs.
The company also specialises in product launches for rural companies, as well as organisations and groups that work in the sector. Some of the more recent rural based projects which the company has been involved with, include, The Northumberland Monitor Farm, NSA North Sheep, The Glendale Agricultural Society, Re:Heat, and Northumbrian Quality Feeds.
Managing Director Barbara Huddart is delighted to welcome Annabel to the team as she explains:
“This really is a key appointment for us at a time when the business is growing. We needed a highly creative and innovative person with the knowledge and experience of rural issues to meet the needs of our client base, so it was vital we brought someone of Annabel’s calibre on board.”
